Last week 17 Year 12 and 13 students hopped on a bus to Gwersyll yr Urdd in Glan-llyn, Bala. The aim of the two day trip was to enable students to use our Welsh outside the classroom environment, speak the language with students from all around Wales, as well as attend lectures delivered by Welsh poets whose work we study as part of the AS/A Level course.

Ysgol Eirias Sixth Form Students turned out in force for a Children in Need Fancy Dress Day on Friday.

Over 260 students dressed up for the day in outfits ranging from the 3 Musketeers to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – and just about everything you can think of in between!

Students raised over £460 for this very worthy cause and even the teachers got in on the act – dressing as students for the day.  Well done to all involved!
