Students in years 7, 8  and 9 at Ysgol Eirias are the first pupils in Conwy County to take and pass level 2 Food Hygiene Certificates on line as part of the School’s Nutrition Action Group training.

This is the first time for the programme to adopt an on line training approach and take the on line exam, as well as the first time for younger members  to undertake level 2 as opposed to level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Nia Williams, Conwy’s Appetite for Life Coordinator was impressed with how well the young students approached the training ‘’ They were all very focused and  serious about the training.  I was also impressed how they recalled the information they gained from the afterschool training ‘’
