Following a very successful Sports Awards Assembly, where pupils’ endeavours and achievements in a wide variety of sports throughout the year are recognised, the annual sponsored run took place on Thursday 26th April. 

Our guest presenter this year was Jess Kavanagh-Williams, the RGC and Wales rugby player, who nominated Wales Air Ambulance as the charity that she would like any money raised to be donated to.

6th form students were fortunate to attend a talk this from Nicky Moore, an Eirias alumni student who now works for the Criminal Prosecution Service in Greater Manchester. 

Eirias alumni, Mary Owen visited school this morning to talk to Year 12 students about her career in the Welsh Audit Office.

'Equaliteas' Event at Bodlondeb

Year 12 students and senior prefects, Molly Cottrill and Emily Darbyshire, represented the school at a special ‘Equalitieas Event’ held at the Conwy County Borough Council debating chamber in Conwy. 

International businessman Tim Penn recently spent the day with the MFL department and Year 8 students.  The purpose of the day was to discuss the importance of languages in the current post Brexit climate.  Students had the opportunity to discuss the future benefits of learning a foreign language.

11 students from the Seren group are visiting the University of Bristol today to attend an Open Day & help them firm up their plans for university

37 Year students from Year 12 recently attended the North Wales UCAS Exhibition at Bangor University. Students were able to attend presentations and talk to representatives from over 50 institutions, making this an invaluable experience as the students begin to plan for their university applications.

We are very proud of our 4 girls from year 7 for competing in the CogUrdd cooking competition this year.

Sixth Form Senior Team

We are proud to announce the Sixth Form Senior Team for the coming year.

The senior team lead the 6th form prefects and collate prefect attendance.

Year 13 students, Neve Roberts and James Dowber were rubbing shoulders with royalty recently whilst receiving their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards at Buckingham Palace.
