Eirias Ski 2025

Dear parent/guardian

For the Ysgol Eirias ski trip in 2025 we will be travelling to the Lungau region of Austria.

We will be using Select School Travel as our travel provider and we will be flying from either Manchester or Heathrow to Salzburg or Munich.

During the trip we will be skiing in several different ski resorts in the Lungau region.

All of these resorts are no more than a twenty minute coach journey from our hotel and offer a good mix of comfortable and challenging runs for all students regardless of ability or experience.

• Dates: = Feb 2025 (5 days skiing with 5x5 hour lessons)
• Provider: Select School Skiing (used by school for multiple years)
• Travel: Flying

• Numbers: 40 students (open to year 9 and above - Year 11 must be returning to 6th form)
• Cost: Based on 40 students £1495 Approx.

Ski Trip 2025 - Teams Meeting

If you are interested in finding out more details about the ski trip to Austria at February in 2025 then you and your parents/guardians will need to attend a Teams meeting (like a live lesson) at 17.30hrs on Wednesday 18^th October. During this meeting myself and a representative from Select School Travel will present information about the trip and be available to answer any questions.

To attend the meeting you will need to be a member of the ‘Ysgol Eirias 2025 Ski Trip’ team.

Please follow the instructions below to join the team: -

Open Microsoft Teams on your mobile/laptop/tablet/PC.

• Open the ‘Teams’ icon (where you find your classes).
• In the top right hand corner, click on either the + button or the ‘Join or create team’ link (whichever your device displays).
• You will be given an option to ‘Join a team with a code’.
• In the box for the code, type in the following: -

• Click ‘Join’.
• You will now be part of the ‘Ysgol Eirias 2025 Ski Trip’ team and will be able to attend the meeting in the same way that you join a live lesson, either via the link in your calendar or the link on the post in this team.
