Jonathon then completed a degree in Mathematics and Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge, representing his college to the quarter finals of popular tv show, University Challenge.

He has since worked for some large financial institutions in London, using his maths, computing and communications skills. Jonathon obtained a graduate diploma in Economics at Brikbeck College, University of London, whilst working and also taught himself computer coding.

Jonathon's talked to the full Year 12 cohort before providing some more specialised presentations for our Mathematics and Physics students.

We are very grateful to Jonathon for giving up his time to share his experiences with us - particularly as he has a very young family at home! Jonathon has very kindly offered to support further links with his current employers to provide potential visits or work experience at his workplace.

We are sure that his talks will help to inspire our current students to aim high and to back themselves to fulfil their potential in whichever direction they choose to follow after 6th form.
