Year 12 students have been treated to a range of alumni talks from ex-students recently to investigate different Pathways after Sixth Form.
Emily Smeaton is training to be a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Manchester. Previously she completed a Psychology degree at Oxford University and a Masters at Kings College, London. Emily has also undertaken a range of voluntary and research work in a variety of settings in the UK and Australia.
Earlier in the week, Nye Michael came in to speak about his experiences reading History and Economics at Oxford. This followed a talk from Daisy Coombs, who is currently reading Medieval and Modern Languages at Cambridge, specialising in French and German.
On Friday, Kathryn Chick will be visiting school to pass on her experiences of studying Law at Leeds University as she graduates this year.
We believe that these talks help to provide students with a good insight into a range of future pathways and some inspiration to keep working hard to achieve their dreams.
We are very grateful to all our alumni students for giving up their time to speak to the next generation of Eirias Sixth Formers.
