Double Wheelchair Basketball success for Eirias students
Congratulations to Rebecca Ganley (Year 12) and Luke Ravenscroft (Year 13) for double success in the Wheelchair Basketball National Championships in Sheffield.
Rebecca and Luke played for the North Wales Knights junior team which won the British Under 18’s Championship and also the North Wales Knights 1st Team (senior level) who became National League Division 2 British Champions.
They have both trained very hard over the last year to achieve this with their team mates, whilst fitting this in around their A Level studies.
To finish off the weekend they both received confirmation that they have been selected for the Welsh Under 18s squad to play in the Junior Championships in Worcester in August.
A fantastic achievement!
