Lowri Roberts, a former Ysgol Eirias head girl, has had her self-funded graduate film; GIRL, shown at the London Short Film Festival.
After studying an A Level in Drama at Eirias she went on to a film-making course at UWE in Bristol. Lowri graduated with a first class honours in her degree.
Based in Bristol and North Wales, Lowri now specialises in producing, directing, and editing.
A report in the Daily Post details Lowri’s achievements; stating that it’s a huge honour for a graduate film.
Lowri commented, saying "At Ysgol Eirias I got into drama and I used to watch films with my dad at home, I remember being obsessed with the Harry Potter films”.
She continued, "I've been told it's unusual for a graduate film to be shown in front of what will be a prestigious audience".
