After an afternoon visiting Covent Gardens, students enjoyed an Italian meal before heading to the Shaftsbury Theatre to see the evening production of ‘Motown: the Musical’.

All students loved seeing the production and appreciated all elements involved in the performance; Acting, singing, lighting, costumes and the orchestra.

The following day the group took part in a workshop linking to the performance. They learnt part of a song from the show and learnt how to perform the number. We then had a talk from the Musical Director, Mark with a Q & A session about his experiences within the industry.

To finish the day, students visited the National History Museum; having a couple of hours exploring the variety of exhibitions taking place before heading back to school.
