An excited and intrepid group of 23 year 10 Eirias students left Colwyn Bay in the early hours of the Sunday of half term for a memorable and awe-inspiring trip to Iceland.
The temperatures may have been cold but a relaxing bathe and swim in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon started the trip in style.
Iceland provided the group with many breath-taking natural sights and visits such as to Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall and the Thingvellir rift valley.
The group also enjoyed glacier walking and a visit to the dramatic black sand beaches. Seeing the Northern Lights was a definite highlight of the trip too!
A fabulous trip and time was had by all to this unique and fascinating country.
