Building on the school's strong tradition of academic excellence, learners have once again demonstrated remarkable commitment, resilience and determination, achieving results that reflect their hard work throughout their studies. Outcomes demonstrate that the school outperformed the Welsh national average across every key measure, achieving higher results at A*-E , A*-A, and A*-B.

This year, over 60% of grades were awarded at A*-B, with more than a third achieving the highest grades of A* or A. These achievements are a testament to the dedication of our learners, the support of their families, and the commitment of our staff.

Learners will now progress to an exciting range of destinations and career pathways at leading universities across the UK, including Veterinary Science, Biomedical Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, International Disaster Management, and Neuroscience with Artificial Intelligence. Learners will also pursue degrees in Business, Law, Nursing, Sport and Exercise Science, and a wide range of scientific disciplines. We are particularly pleased to see learners pursuing opportunities that reflect the breadth of talent and ambition within this year's cohort.

A significant proportion of learners have secured places at their first-choice universities, colleges, apprenticeships and employment destinations. We are proud that all learners have gained access to pathways aligned with their aspirations and ambitions.

There were exceptional performances across a wide range of subjects. Notable achievements included:

• Art: Outstanding results, with nearly 60% of learners achieving A*-A grades and an exceptional number of A* awards.
• Business: An excellent year, with almost 90% of learners securing A*-B grades.
• German: Strong outcomes with 80% of learners achieving A*-B grades.
• Medical Science: An outstanding result of 100% of learners achieved A*-C grades.
• Sport: Excellent results across both Diploma and Extended Certificate qualifications, with 100% A*-C.
• Skills Challenge Certificate: Outstanding performance, with over 60% of learners achieving A*-A grades and more than 84% securing A*-B.

In addition, many subjects achieved strong results across all grade boundaries, highlighting the consistency of achievement across the curriculum and the exceptional efforts of both learners and staff.

Learners and staff were delighted as results were released, celebrating the culmination of years of perseverance, hard work and personal growth. Beyond their academic success, this cohort has made a valuable contribution to the wider life of the school through leadership, enrichment activities, community involvement and support for younger learners.
