If you are planning to go to University in the UK you will need to apply via UCAS at the beginning of Year 13. As a school we actively encourage you to submit your application early. Universities will start allocating places before the deadline in January / March. We regularly have students who have received replies from all of their choices by the end of November.
Working closely with all the main UK universities and UCAS, the Complete University Guide, gives you University League Tables and Rankings for all UK Universities. The Student Finance Wales website has extensive information and guides on applying for student loans.
Representatives from Student Finance Wales come in to school during the Spring Term to give Year 13 students information on the process of applying for their student loan.
