• Chunk revision into subjects and topics
• Make flashcards, mindmaps, posters, audio notes
• Test yourself
• Use past paper questions and mark schemes to support your revision
• Try and teach someone else the topic
• Remember to ask your teacher if you need help or support

Exam technique tips

• Read the questions carefully - understand what is being asked of you
• BUG - box the command work, underline key information and go over the question again
• Time management – plan your time to answer the questions, use the mark scheme to guide you here.
• Plan your answers – particularly so for essay questions
