Ysgol Eirias have a long standing reputation for holding some incredible trips and educational visits. Over the past few years pupils have worked hard to go to places like Belgium, Iceland, China, Peru, Africa as well as other more local visits to universities, museums, beaches, exhibitions, presentations, and theatrical workshops. French exchange trip

Are you studying French in Yr 10, 11,12 & 13?

Do you want to have that edge in your speaking exam?


What better way to improve your confidence and speaking skills than to take part in the French Exchange 2019?

The French department is delighted to announce this fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the linguistic, cultural and historical benefits of spending time in France .

The Facts

Who – Year 10, 11,12&13 French students.

Where – Angers, France.

When - 8th - 17th March 2019, and host our French friends 30th March – 6th April

Why – Increase confidence. Develop speaking skills. Experience French culture for yourself.

What – Daily excursions during our stay include Futuroscope, Poitiers theme park, city / town tours of Le Mans Tours & Saumur and sightseeing opportunities in the popular and historical Chateau d’Amboise & Abbaye de Fontevraud, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For the foodies amongst us we also plan a visit to a chocolate making workshop and a tour of a local vineyard. Attending lessons at Lycée Mongazon in the majestic city of Angers,
