On Tues 26th September as part of the activities arranged by the International Languages faculty to celebrate European Day of Languages, VI form linguists took part in the Great European Bake Off competition.
After researching European recipes, each student chose one they would like to bake.
They also produced information cards about their chosen recipe to present to the judges before tasting. All our students made fantastic cakes and desserts, thoroughly worthy of the Bake Off tent!
Our Headteacher Mrs Evans, with the help of Mr Davies voted Layla Strydom's amazing 'tarte aux pommes' as the winner with Harry Buttle's Portuguese almond biscuits in 2nd place.
Well done to all our VI form language students for getting into the spirit of the day and celebrating European cuisine in style - Bravo! Fantastisch!
