Paris Fashion Week came early this week as some of our Year 8 French students made their red carpet debut, modelling creations designed in minutes that could rival any haute couture fashion house!

The creativity shone through as they quickly worked together to produce a fashion show. The atmosphere was electric in the classroom as the audience waited with excited anticipation as to what creative vision would be next to walk the pop-up runway to the beat of ‘Alors, on danse’ by Stromae.

The designers then explained their outfits in French, recycling vocabulary they had learnt when describing their ideal school uniform. Thank you for all who were brave enough to take part and to the audience for their positivity and encouragement shown in their applause, it made for a wonderful end to this term!
