The Eirias School Parliament is made up of students that represent each year group. Each representative encourage each form class within their year group to nominate a charity close to their hearts. The list is then collected and whittled down to a manageable amount. The Eirias School Parliament then organise the "Big Vote" in order to choose two local and one national charities.
Sixty of our Year 7 pupils were taken on a rewards trip to Bude last weekend and they had the time of their lives. They spent three days on the beautiful Cornish coast at an outdoor adventure centre, sat on a cliff top overlooking a sandy beach. On arrival they enjoyed an evening of beach games and searching for sea life in the rock pools. Over the weekend students participated in a range of activities, including Canadian canoeing, surfing, body boarding, archery, team building and abseiling down a 80ft cliff.
