Monitoring at Ysgol Eirias

In addition to the prevention and intervention of bullying, we closely monitor learners' perspectives. Learners from year 7-11 carry out the Kiva survey each year and the results are collated and compared in relation to previous years and against all other schools using the Kiva programme.

The latest KiVa results demonstrate that the percentage of learners who have experienced bullying has reduced since the implementation of Kiva and is significantly lower than all other schools who took part in the survey. Data gathered is an important tool in identifying areas of improvement and guiding progression.

Ysgol Eirias also has a committed pastoral support network including form tutors, heads of learning, designated trusted adults, a student manager and a wellbeing officer to monitor learners across all year groups to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
