Seven Eirias students represented the school at a very moving Holocaust Memorial Day event in Llandudno on Sunday Evening.
Six of the students lit a candle each to represent a million Jewish lives lost during the holocaust in World War II.
The students also listened to a captivating talk from Susan Pollack MBE, a holocaust survivor who spent time in Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen before being liberated by Allied forces at the end of the war at the age of 14.
Mrs Pollack will be visiting Ysgol Eirias on Tuesday to speak to Year 11 and 6th Form History students about her experiences.
The school is grateful to the Llandudno Holocaust Memorial Committee for organising these events.
