Year 12 students welcomed 27 different employers and apprenticeship providers to the 6th Form today, from a diverse range of sectors.
It was so pleasing to hear so many positive comments from our visitors about how polite, mature and engaging the students were. We know this of course, but it was lovely to hear it being confirmed by so many employers. There was something for everyone - whether it was checking out an actual lion's foot and elephant's tooth with the Welsh Mountain Zoo; experiencing cutting-edge space age camera technology with Qioptic; or experiencing the everyday challenges for stroke victims with the Occupational Therapy Team. Other providers included Pontio, the British Army and Navy, BAe Systems and Airbus, to name just a few! Thanks to Martin Webber from Careers Wales for helping to organise and facilitate the event.
